The SS Great Endeavour was an iron hulled paddle steamer built for the Mainland Line in 1837 and was launced on the 2nd of January 1838. She was made for the Donkk-Sawyer route and could make trans-arctic voyages. She was sunk in 1856 by an accidental ramm
