VL80K (ВЛ80К) Electric Locomotive The VL80 (Vladimir Lenin, 8-axle) is a series of two-part electric freight locomotives built in the Soviet Union, and later Russia, from 1961 to 1995. The VL80K version was built from 1963 to 1971 with 695 being produced.
