旧門司税関 / JP 北九州 Former Customs Office

福岡県北九州市門司区にある「旧門司税関」です。 明治45（1912）年に建設されましたが、完成後すぐに火災で焼失。 現存する建物は二代目となります。 その後民間に払い下げられ事務所ビルとして使用されたり、門司空襲により屋根が消失した後面影が ないほど荒廃していましたが、４年に渡る復元作業により現在の姿を取り戻しています。 現在は門司港レトロの１施設として、休憩室、喫茶店や、門司税関広報展示室があり、多目的ホール として活用されています。 カテゴリーは Unique Building 、サイズは 5×4 です
