NPCs fire grenades instead of bullets

All usable weapons for the HL2 npcs will fire live grenade frags instead of shooting bullets , why? Idk maybe they want to main demoman in TF2 This affects the weapon override command! Since those are a modified base hl2 weapons , you receive ammo instead
